For those of you looking to transition from V9, CNC Software created a video with a few tips for making the switch. You can watch the video in our media section.

In addition, for those of you transitioning specifically from V9 to X5, they have created the Mastercam V9 to X5 Transition Guide. It explains in detail how to update settings, libraries, parts, and posts to recreate their current work environment as quickly as possible. It covers using Mastercam utilities such as Update Folder and UpdatePosts to convert files and create machine and control definitions, as well as modifying configuration files.
