C axis in mill

Hello to all

How output C axis. I do 2d contour 2 on 2 inch when - in rotary axis control - rotary type - 3 axis - rotate about Z axis - in backplot all good, but nc code wrong

I use Generic Fanuc 5X Milll.

What i do wrong

I was thinking someone else might chime in here. Sorry I have been really busy, but you need to go into the Rotary Axis Control and set the Rotation Type to no Rotation. When you use the 3 axis option you are telling the post you want what you go for output. When you do not want it to rotate about an axis you click no rotation and when you do want like what you got then you can decide if you want a toolpath to rotate about that axis. On machine with limited Head movement you want other axis to move to cut the part this is a good option to have, but in your case you don't and making this switch should help you out.

Hi Ekii, another way for C axis output is just switch to a Generic 4Ax VMC.

Leave your tool path settings alone.Edit the machine definition, Double left Click on the A axis rotary

Icon, and change the rotation to "Z" axis.

X and C axis motion will occur.
