Opticore, added cuts.

closer, like I would on a core roughing or area clearance
On core Roughing or Area Clearance, when added cuts is not checked and I have a .200" step down my z levels
can leave that much or more, when added cuts is checked It usually only leave the stock to leave amount.(say .030")
I need Opticore to do the same but don't see the added cut option.
I do see the step up but don't know what it does
Does any one know how to achieve what my needs are for this path?
Thanks In advance

A secret that Dave suggested some time back, if you change your step up value to match your step down, it will step up only at your flat depths and leave only the amount that you specify on those flats. Nice secret.
The nice thing about "step up" in optirough vs "add cuts" in core roughing, is opti will only step up when necessary. Core roughing "add cuts" adds depths over entire z levels which is horribly inefficient. (correct me if im wrong on that, its been ages since ive used it).

And yes neurosis, it cleans up exactly what you described over the entire z levels
