Okay so I finally installed X6 then MU2.  How do I update my X5 config and MTB files to use my colors/right-click menus/toolbars? :cat:

So far I got my Post/MD/CD updated and good.  I have no toolbars or my right click menus.

I stashed a copy of my X5 CONFIG folder on another drive JIC.  What file would my custom toolbars be.  mastercam.mtb or default.mtb?

Depends on what you saved it as. The one with the newer date is probably it.

Hmm, can't save edits on here.  SO delete my previous post.  I saved my MTB as my name.  Anyway I updated my config file to X6, but upon opening X6, it couldn't find the config file and it showed the X6 folder path.

Still having problems.  I've migrated everything except it wont update my X5 config file or my .mtb file.  I directed X6 to these migrated files in the migrated X5 folder and X6 crashes.  How do I update my Config/.MTB files?

Yeah updating is a pain in the you know what.  Everytime a new release comes out I'm like, Ok here we go again.  I just manually update my toolbars and my RMB.  Then go and update all my operation default's.  It's a few hours in my life I will never get back, but it has to be done. :realmad:

There is a migration utility in X6 which is great for bringing the mymcamx5 folder over.  This folder includes your config file and toolbars.  I just helped one of our customers with this on Friday took less than 30 seconds and he was very happy to have all of his toolbars setup the same way as X5 in X6.
