Inserting HSM G-code to post

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am have idea insert G187 P1 E0.8 (for HSM function) as canned text befor operation and only G187

at end operation for cancelling this function.

All works good except one little problem - G187 P1 E0.8 appears twice in the middle of operation.

I will very glad if some one will help me with this.

Thank to all in advance.

Sincerely,

Michael.

You probably want to create a variable flag to hold the current state of HSM output.

Only output HSM-On if it is currently off.

Without seeing your post-processor, it's impossible to give you a complete answer.

Hi Tim,

How can I send you the post.

Thanks for any help.

Sincerely,

Michael.

Michael,

Use the email address for service on my website.

I'll take a look at what you have.

I have done something similar for Fanuc AICC/AIAPC High Speed Modes.

However, I did it with a user prompt and a Miscellaneous Integer for the accuracy value (R1-R10).

I created a flag to hold the state and I only output if it isn't a standard or 5-axis drilling op

I also handle null tool changes so it's output where required.
