Why I can't get it work? vtoolx-vtooly-vtoolz

Recommended Posts

Guys, any idea why I get 0-0-1 output from these variables?! Should be different.

It worked before few versions, but no I struggle with.

I play with Generic Haas VF-TR_Series 5X Mill.pst and Generic Fanuc 5X Mill.pst.

Do I miss something or somehing has been changed in psb files in the past?

THX for any help!

Hi Peter,

What is your setting for 'rotaxtyp$'? It must be set greater than or equal to '2' for these to be calculated. They are only calculated during normal output processing, and not during the pre-read loop.

Those variables are calculated from XYZ position to the UVW position. If necessary, you could use x$, y$, z$, and u$, v$, w$, and just calculate your own vector. (don't forget to unitize the vector if necessary)

Hope that helps,

Colin

THX Colin, yepp, I've checked rotaxtyp, it was 9999. So should be OK. (?)
