Changing z axis direction

Recommended Posts

Hi I'm new here and not very advanced with mastercam but I am learning and have a couple questions. Currently we have x6 at work and I am using it to create tool paths and geometry for a part I am going to be making on a swiss lathe. I know this isn't the best way to go about this since we don't have an actual post for our swiss machines right now but I've got to work with what I've got.

Anyway, I am wondering how I can change my lathe setup on mastercam so that Z+ is feeding the Z part into the tool and Z- would be pulling it back into the guide bushing. Currently it is setup like an ordinary lathe where it is the opposite of what I want. When I post it out, my G02's and G03's are opposite as well.

Is there a way to change this to get it to do what I need to do?

Thank you

Dylan
