I have looked in the X5 and X7 NCI parameter manual. I can not find a parameter number to read in the pparameter$ postblock that works. All I'm looking for is to read the number of instances of a transform-rotate operation. Anybody?

15042 - Number of steps

15042 does not work. I was thinking over the weekend that the reason I can't find any parameter to work is that this a transform / rotate in X6 Lathe.

There is an option in the Control Definition file that controls the output of Parameters for Transform Operations.

 

Look on the "Files" Control Topic page. In the lower right of the dialog box are three radio button controls for:

1. Transform op parameters only
   
2. Source ops parameters only
   
3. Transform and source parameters
   

Make sure you have the control set to option #3 (Transform and source parameters). This is parameter number 18157.

 

After you make that change, you should be able to access parameter number 15042 in the 'pparameter$' post block.
