In need of a post for a Mori Seiki Post

Recommended Posts

Hi there I am in need of a control & machine definition and post for a mori seiki lathe X and Z axis with a C axis I've tryed the ones that came with my mastercam (x5) and even the one that's listed on this site , I had better luck with the mplmaster .pst free download from this site but didn't have the G71 canned cycle in it ?

I've contacted the reseller but they are very backed up right now any help would be appreciated thanks Chris

You're not getting G71 output because you're not using the Lathe "canned" cycles. If you do a lathe rough or lathe finish, or anything that's not specifically in the "canned" menu, longhand path is output, ALWAYS.

You have to specifically use lathe canned tool paths then it will output as you expect.
