MPMASTER extra tool change in contour

When I have 'force tool change' enabled in a contour toolpath with depth cuts, I get a tool change at each depth pass. Mill default dosn't appear to do this. How can I fix it?

Does the version of your mpmaster have the Productivity Plus support added in? (Look in the revision log for "# IHS 01/10/14  -  Added Productivity Plus, cml").

 

If you are not using the Renishaw probing with this post, you can pound out the line:

 

force_tlchg$ : 0     #first operation marks input SOF as done, ASCII NCI toolchange Gcodes are not altered

 

This should prevent the extra toolchange from occuring between depth cuts and multi-passes.

I have the Productivity Plus revision in the MPmaster that I am using, and the "force_tlchg" line is exactly like you have recommended, but I am still having this issue...

 

We are not using probes here. 

Any other possibilities ??

I think when he says pound out the line he means to comment it out.. so it would look like this..
