Help, I'm trying to make my profile pic in master cam 9

hello I'm new to the forum and well like the title says I need help. I want to make the spider in

 

my profile pic into a key chain unfortunately I've been trying to draw it my self in master cam 9 for about 2 months with no luck, it never looks right so I was wondering if there was away to send the picture directly to master cam 9? any help would be appreciated

You should have raster to vector C-hook in Mcam 9 that will do this conversion for you.

sorry but I took one semester of master cam 9 years ago, if you could please tell me how to do that step by step I would apreciate it.

Inkscape is a free program to create a dxf outline of your photo.

while I thank Hockey guy for his help in converting my jpeg into a dxf now I need help in opening the file.

Are you still running V9?

You'll need to change the file type to open.

If I remember correctly in V9 it's in the convertors page.

In the help guide do a search for DWG files and it should give you the correct sequence.
