I think your mixing up your terms or something.. f(mm/rev) is millemeters per revolution and should be your federate and would correlate to IPR (inches per rev)

 

If they were talking about what your speed should be then they would usually call it out in meters per minute m/min

 

If the book says 450m/min it would be 3.2808 * 450 to get (SFM) feet per minute.. so 1476 SFM - formula is 3.2808 * m/min = SFM

 

If it was 450 mm/rev it would be 17.7165 inches per revolution .. scary fast this one the formula is mm/rev / 25.4 = IPR
