Right Click Options

I use my right mouse button to access my most commonly used tools.  

 

With the Quick Mask icon however I'm not able to right-click the icon from within the menu.  

 

Is there a way to get the Quick Mask button to work the same way from within the menu as it does on the main screen?

I use right mouse for common stuff as well. I'm just not understanding the menu you're talking about? Do you mean right click menu?

Correct, I'm talking about the menu that appears when pressing the right mouse button.  I have the quick-mask-wireframe icon loaded in it.  

 

When you left click the QM icon, it selects all wireframe which is good.  When you right click the QM icon, it should allow you to select only wireframe ignoring solids/surface/etc.  But it doesn't.

Ahh, ok, I don't think that functionality works from the right click menu, only the QM toolbar. I believe the icons you add to the right click menu are strictly individual switches. hth

Metalman Steve are you right clicking or left clicking on the Quickmask? The reason I ask is they each one have a right and left mouse click ability. Right Click is the ONLY ability with the Quickmask and the Left Click is the ALL ability with the Quickmask.

 

It the only thing in Mastercam that does not show you the little mouse to know it has double functions.

 

The AutoCursor has the little mouse that shows up when you hover over it  that means it has 2 functions controlled by the mouse click. The Levels, Color, and other things on the bottom of the screen do as well, but not the Quickmask so most people are not aware they have 2 functions just by the way you right or left click on them.

I believe his problem is that the right click functionality does not work when he assigns QM WIRE to the right-click drop-down menu (aka context menu); you cannot right click > right click

Yes I believe it will not do the same behavior in the right click as it does in a toolbar.

Yup, cathedral explained it perfectly. It's not a huge deal but thought i 'd throw it out there since it doesn't hurt to ask

can you assign a macro to the context menu. That way you can have 2 icons, 1 for QM all and 1 for QM only.

Nope they do not work that way. It only works with all and only from that toolbar from what I have been told.
