Maho MH 800C-- Philips 532--Post Processor

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys, I need little help in customizing a post processor. I have a Maho MH 800C with Philips 532 contoroller. It has two spindle. One horizontal and other one is vertical. Machine's horizontal positioning is its default axis means it reads XYZ as horizontal machining center but when i activate vertical spindle it reads Horizontal's Y axis as its Z axis and Horizontal's Z Axis as its Y axis.

Example:- If i put G01 G91 X2.5 Y2.5 Z2.5:

The horizontal spindle will read it as a normal machining center but the vertical spindle will read Y2.5 as its Z2.5 and Z2.5 as its Y2.5.

So , where should i make the changes so that it post program by itself. i Know its gonna be different version of post processor but that's ok. Please Help.

Thanks
