Repeating Initial Drill points

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys!

I have a question. I am developing apost for an old Anilam Control that the drill cycle needs the initial output of x and y repeated after the drill cycle callout. I tried inserting a pfxout, pxyout after the drill call, but then I get doubles of every x and y output for that cycle. Does anyone know how to get just the initial points to repeat?

As always thanks for the help.

Todd

Hi Todd,

Normally, Drill Cycles are processed using two different post blocks. The first hole is 'NCI Gcode 81', and calls 'pdrill$' for output.

Every "additional" hole is 'NCI Gcode 100', and calls 'pdrill_2$' for output.

Your post is likely so old that 'pdrill_2$' is probably setup to call 'pdrill$' for additional cycles.

Try making sure that your 'force' code is only after the cycle output in 'pdrill$', and then check 'pdrill_2$', and see what the output is there. You may have to modify 'pdrill_2$' to output what you need...
