Mill - slow down feed on arc moves

Hello,

 

I thought I remembered seeing something a couple years ago about using the highfeed function in MasterCam to slow down the arc feedrates in a program.  I couldn't find it on here though.  Is that something that is doable? And can someone point in the direction of where to find the info or how to accomplish that?  I am using X7.

You can adjust the feed rate for arcs for all the tools in the Machine Group Properties.  Go into Tool Settings,  check Adjust Feed on Arc Move.

 There is also a feed rate adjustment for Troichoidal motion in the 2D High Speed tool paths.

Toolpath editor is your best friend here. Right click on the operation. Then go to the move and then edit the federate. Then you are good to go until you want to change something.

YOu can set the witch to create arcs for all paths, and regen, after you get the arcs in the path you want, lock it, set it back and regen everything else

Or...you can do it in your post globally.  I use a misc integer to turn it on / off.  This works great to comp on corners OD / ID.
