I just discovered this issue myself today.

Lemme guess, you edited this, right;

#Work offsets
workofs$     : -1    #Initialize work offset
force_wcs    : yes$  #Force WCS output at every toolchange?
use_frst_wcs : yes$  #Use only the first WCS read and ignore all others in NCI  <-------------------If you change this to "yes" it'll work, if you change it to "no", it doesn't work.

I don't have a fix yet, but I'm looking into it.

I have now assigned wcs outputs to the planes (G54 and G55)... and I have an unlock/lock now, however I need a "M11-M10" and i'm getting "M69-M68".

M11 M10 are for the "A axis"

M69 M68 are for the "B axis"

I tried switching these from Primary Axis Lock/Unlock to Secondary Axis lock/Unlock, but get the same result.

I did try and change the use_first_wcs but it didn't make a difference. I'll play around some more later.

Thanks a bunch !

  • 2 months later...

I revisited this today and still can't figure out how / where to change to get an M11 / M10 output when the A rotates and the B is still at 90 degrees...

5th axis trunnion sitting on a vertical mill.

The initial unlock/lock works fine, but not when just the A needs to re-position... getting the m-codes for B unlock/lock

Thanks in advance

My guess is someone messed with the post for whatever reason and the locking unlocking isn't being updated properly.....or depending not even set to output....

I think this one will be tough without diving into the [ost itself.....

A call to your reseller woulds be in order
