X9mu2 Verify Crashing

Hi All,

Running X9mu2 and no issues at all. Rock solid and never locked on classic backplot which is used exclusively.

However, verify quite often locks up, which also locks up Mastercam.

So I'm saving before verify every time now.

X7 didn't do this nor did X5 (same computer).

Graffix card is NVidia GeForce GTX970 with 16gig RAM.

Anyone got any pointers for config please?

Thanks

I've had an stl file get corrupted, which caused verify to crash

Recreating the stl fixed the problem.

I've also found verify to me much more robust using stock models instead of stl files

This is true, even if the stock model is just an stl file with no supporting operations

I'll install the latest drives and see how we go.

As an aside I have an issue with CNC at the moment where spotdrills used for chamfering and csking stop with collision in verify.

Turning off the solid and verifying it runs through fine, but with solid visible and then verify (to allow subsequent compare) it stops every time.

CNC have looked at it and I've sent them a z2go and all looks good, except on my workstation!

So i'll try drivers and we'll go from there.

It seems like there should be a pause adaptive quality toggle switch.

I hate it when i leave verify open but i'm not using it, it just consumes all my computers resources.

It would also be sweet to be able to set processor affinity to the verify or the mastercam session individually instead of it just to mastercam.exe
