Using Levels - Wireframe of stock, solid of part?

Hi,

I'm wondering if it possible to simultaneously display a wireframe view of a solid on one level and and shaded view of a solid on another level.  For example, on level 1 I have my stock, which I would like to view as a wireframe.  On level 2 I have my part, which I would like to view as shaded.  This way I can see how my part is positioned within the stock.  Any help would be appreciated.  What I know does not work is to toggle one level on, change it to wireframe, toggle it off and the other level on, and then make it shaded.  That just changes both levels to shaded.

No, there is no ability to have 2 solids at different states of shading......

 

They are either unshaded, shaded or translucent all together.

 

I might suggest logging on the Mastercam.com form and submitting an enhancement request..I know this has been asked for but the more that ask, the higher up on the list things go

you can create curve all edges, on a separate level, as a work around.

I use verify to do this. Select your solid for stock then only have your part on the screen. Open verify and then click the stock button a couple times to make it transparent.
