Solidworks 2016 update

Has any one updated their solidworks to find that the default color scheme

is all white backgrounds?

 

Its actually uglier the a fresh install of X9....   LOL.... J/K, X9 is beautiful....

 

I have never had to change settings like this.

Is there a color scheme changer in solidworks?

Solidworks took some very heavy fire over their 2016 update.

 

Its really awful, like staring into a spotlight all day

 

They are slowly unwinding it with service packs

 

I don't know what version you have installed but try

 

Tools/Options/Colors

 

center top you will find a dropdown named Background ... giving you a choice between

Light Medium and Dark

 

I'm running 2016 SP3.0 EV and it also has an Icon dropdown

giving a choice between Default and Classic

 

I'm running Classic and Medium

Thats interesting, i love the look of my SW2016. But I'm a little weird, so that may have something to do with it. Sorry I don't have an answer for you but good luck with your search.

Yes was something I saw when I finally got SP2.0. On a big monitor I feel like I am getting tan.
