If I recall correctly, when you follow the steps above, you can also jog the tool away from the work, change the insert and jog it back to the same place before you start running again from the same spot in the program.

I may try that too. Thanks

yes this is correct, also you don't necessarily need to return the turret back where you left off. On the 1st cycle start the tool will return to where it came from and on the 2nd cycle start it will continue machining where it left off.
