Gear cutting

Hello

I have Mastercam 2017 and a Doosan Puma 2600Y (C & Y axis) and I am trying to do a gear for a personal project.

I am new to Mastecam, only had it for a couple of months and I can't figure out how to do the tool path.

Using a gear cutter and live tooling. like i do on the old bridgeport with a dividing head.

Hope you guys can adwise me what to use.

If that cutter is the same form as your part i would create geometry similar to what i have shown in the image below and run a Lathe Cross Contour toolpath using your custom tool profile.

How do i repeat that movement 38 times

And Is your picture turned 90 degrees ? I would like to position the cutter at "12 a clock"

Toolpath Transform will do that for you.
