Greetings.

Im new to Mastercam and edm cutting so i have few questions.

I have problem with taper heights or should i say z axis height. When programing manually i can set z value but when i use mastercam to generate gcode z height or taper heights dont change. What im doing wrong ?! (using Mastercam2017/Mitsubishi MV1200S)

Tnx for reply. :)

Mastercam recognize those planes ( Z height ) but when i transfer G-code to wire edm, machine do not move z axis, but  instead stay on the last known z height (manually inserted or moved z value).

So I assume the Mits will move the Z axis simultaneously with the U and V?  My Fanucs won't do that, but really there is no need for it. Are you using the 3 d tracking?

I want to move Z axis simultaneously with U and V but Mits wont do that. No, i dont youse 3d tracking, whats that?

Its for wire machines that will actually support movement of the Z axis simultaneously  with the U and V.
