Mastercam’s latest 3D HST toolpath is OptiRest, which performs rest milling operations to remove remaining material with optimized roughing motion. It is the first Mastercam toolpath to take advantage of the new stock model functionality for defining stock removal areas. Containment boundaries are also required for this toolpath.
