    eMastercam, a platform and estore hosted and maintained by In-House Solutions Inc. recognizes and values the privacy of the information provided to us through the operation of our business.  We are committed to ensuring that our policies and procedures reflect our commitment to maintaining the security of your personal data. This Privacy Policy applies to personal information collected by eMastercam, its affiliates or subsidiaries when you communicate with us (which may include emails, fax, responding to our campaigns, completing surveys, or other means); purchase or use our products and services; access technical support; visit our websites, forums and social media pages that we control; submit a resume or job application; or provide your information through our offline interactions.



    eMastercam will collect only information that is necessary and suitable for our business purposes. For example, as a customer if you purchase an eMastercam product, we may require you to disclose your name, address, and your credit card details, to obtain payment for that purchase.

    Personal information we may typically collect includes your: user name, password, first and last name, company name, postal address, email address, telephone number, IP address and payment data (e.g. credit card) when products or services are purchased.

    We will use reasonable commercial efforts to inform you before or at the time of collection which personal information we will collect and how we intend to use it, so you can make an informed decision about whether to provide your personal information. However, if you choose not to provide the information, we may not be able to proceed with your request or provide certain products and services.


    eMastercam receives and collects personal information from you in several different ways. These may include:

    Communications Initiated By You

    When you email, fax, write to us, or initiate communication with us in any other means, you may provide us with your name, contact details and other personal information in your message.

    Communications in Response to Consented Communications from Us

    From time to time we may contact you directly by mail, email or telephone informing you about upgrades, new products, promotions or special offers that you consented to receiving. When responding to one of these campaigns, you may provide us with personal information.

    Purchase/Implementation or Use of Products, Services and/or Licenses

    Upon purchase, implementation or use of an eMastercam product, service or license, you will be asked to provide information that we will use to record you as an authorized owner/licensee of an eMastercam product and to assist us in providing you with service and information.


    Technical Support

    During the process of providing technical support, you may provide us with additional personal contact information and from time to time, we may request files and/or other information from you to diagnose and resolve technical support issues.

    Access Website/Forums/Social Media Pages

    We may collect your personal information that you provide when you access our website, submit webforms, create an account or log into our sites by bridging from your social media accounts, visit or post on our forums and social media pages.  

    The forums we host and social media pages we control facilitate the open dialogue and knowledge sharing between current and potential users of our products and services and allow us to communicate company and product information. While we are responsible for the personal information we collect as required to set up of your account access, we are not responsible for any personally identifiable information you choose to publish on these public pages.

    We strongly recommend that you do not share any personally identifiable information on any of our forums, social media pages or comment sections. If you choose to voluntarily publish personal information, it may be seen and used by others. If you would like to request that we remove your personal information from our forums, social media pages or comment sections of our website, please contact us using one of the methods listed in the “Contact Us” section.

    Resumes and Applications

    When you submit a resume or application for employment to eMastercam, we obtain your personal information. We may only use this information to evaluate and/or contact you about potential current and/or future employment opportunities with us.

    Publicly Available Databases

    We may obtain your personal contact information from publicly available databases or similar sources for the purposes of business development or building a job applicant pipeline to fill current or future employment opportunities. We are committed to accessing only publicly available information from responsible providers whose privacy policy and practices demonstrate that your information has been collected and shared with your consent, and that at the time we access your information that your consent has not been withdrawn. We will never buy or sell our contact or email lists.

    Offline Interactions

    We may obtain your personal information when we meet through offline interactions that may include attendance at industry events, conferences, tradeshows, networking meetings, receiving referrals, etc.

    Information Collected from Communications From You

    When you communicate with us and provide your personal information, we will use only that personal information that is necessary and appropriate for us to respond to your communication. When you communicate with us, this is considered as consent for us to communicate with you.

    For the duration that we have your consent to do so, we may provide you with promotional materials and information.

    We may use product surveys to collect feedback from our customers about our products and services and any features our customers would like to see in future products.     Information Collected via Product Purchase/Implementation/Use and/or License Activation

    Information you provide upon purchase, implementation and/or use of an eMastercam product or activation of a license will be used to (i) keep a record of your product or license, (ii) authenticate and periodically verify your licensing rights in the product for anti-piracy purposes, (iii) assist eMastercam in providing support to you when you contact eMastercam sales/technical support departments, (iv) identify if new product updates are available prior to sending you a notice to install the new product update and (v) inform you of any upgrades, new products, promotions or other information that may be of interest to you. By purchasing/implementing or using an eMastercam product or activating a license, you are consenting to us collecting and using your personal information for the purposes of fulfilling our business activity.


    Information Collected While Providing Technical Support

    Generally, our eMastercam technical support team can obtain customer contact information via the registration data it maintains in its customer databases, or those of our suppliers. eMastercam may use this contact information to respond to support inquiries and/or to request additional information from the customer. If we need to collect files and/or other information, we will use this for the purposes of diagnosing and resolving your technical problem.



    We may use the information you provide to us through our website/forums to communicate with you, provide access to the products and services you request and analyze data and to identify trends that we may use for product improvements and marketing purposes.


    Resumes and Employment Applications

    We may use your personal information collected from a resume or application submitted by you to assess and make a decision about employment, and to contact you about current and future employment opportunities. If we establish an employment relationship, we will further use your personal information, and collect any additional personal data necessary for Human Resources Administrative reasons in fulfilling our employment relationship obligations.

    Business Development

    We may use your information collected from our customer account information, accessing publicly available databases or our offline interactions to contact you for the purpose of following up on an inbound, outbound or referral lead, to follow-up on outstanding quotes or complete customer service calls with existing customers.


    Whenever you enter our website or access any on-line information through an eMastercam product, our server may automatically collect and aggregate information (“Automatic Information”) about your visit. Automatic Information may include URLs or domains of referring websites, IP Addresses, browser type, operating system, the pages that you access and the date and time of your visit. Automatic Information collected by eMastercam is used for statistical and marketing purposes. We may use Automatic Information to help us improve our understanding of our users and their preferences. We also may use it to assist us in arranging relevant advertising, commercial opportunities and competitions. Automatic Information we collect may help us to develop our website and audit its use. For example, from time to time we may also utilize services such as Google Analytics to analyze trends and site traffic to help us to align eblasts, improve our website etc.

    Some of our products may allow you to store, send, receive, edit, sync, share, or otherwise organize or manage files and folders (including any information or data stored in those folders) (“User Files”). We may record and store information regarding the size and name of all User Files that you make available via these products. Because the names of the User Files you submit are not treated as personal information, eMastercam strongly recommends that you name or describe your files in a way that includes non-identifiable information and that you do not include any personal information to describe User Files that you make available via these products and services.     eMastercam will only share any personal information with third parties for the purposes of providing services after obtaining your consent, except as specifically described below.

    Affiliates and Subsidiaries

    We may share the information that you have provided to us with subsidiaries and affiliated companies of eMastercam who are required to comply with the terms of this policy.

    Internal Operations

    We may also share information that you have provided to us with independent auditors, acting on our behalf, for anti-piracy and revenue accounting purposes in connection with the internal operations of our business, provided that such companies comply with the terms of this policy.

    Technical Support

    eMastercam may not always be able to diagnose and solve your technical issues. From time to time, we may determine that we need to share your technical information with a third party licensor to assist us with diagnosing and resolving your problem. We will use reasonable commercial efforts to advise you of this fact, however by sending in your file and/or information you are consenting that we may share for this purpose of resolving your reported issue.

    Some third party software that interoperates with the eMastercam software, such as an operating system software, may request data from your system to assist it in diagnosing issues. You may be informed  of the need for this information and we recommend that you review the Privacy Policy of the software provider before you choose whether to provide your information to the third party. The third party software provider will be responsible for any privacy issues related to the information you provide it.

    Service Providers

    We occasionally hire other companies to provide services on our behalf, such as processing transactions, including credit card transactions, handling the processing and delivery of mailings, providing customer support, hosting websites, collecting, storing or removing your information, or performing statistical analysis of our products or services. We only share your information for the purposes of providing the required services. These companies are subject to agreements requiring them to maintain the confidentiality of your information and prohibiting them from using that information for any other purpose.


    We may partner with another company to provide you with a unique product or service.  The use of your information by eMastercam and its partners is limited to the specific product and/or service that you have purchased.     Although we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law when we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or other legal process or to protect eMastercam, our users’ or third parties’ rights, property or safety.

    Business Transfers

    The information that is collected by eMastercam is considered to be a business asset. In the event that eMastercam, any affiliated company, division or portions of its assets are acquired by another company, such information may be one of the transferred assets. If so, the acquiring company may only use your information in ways consistent with this Privacy Policy (or any subsequent policy in effect at the time information is collected from you). We note that information submitted or collected before or after a transfer may be subject to a new privacy policy adopted by the successor company.


    We take security seriously and maintain reasonable physical, electronic, organizational and procedural safeguards to protect your personal information. While no data transmission over the Internet is one hundred percent (100%) secure from intrusion, we have used and will continue to use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the protection of your personal information.     9. LINKS to Third party sites

    We may offer links from our website to other websites which may be hosted by third parties with whom we choose to offer co-branded products, to social media providers for your convenience to bridge to your eMastercam account, or by unrelated companies which we think may be of interest to you. This Privacy Policy does not cover these third party websites. We recommend that you check the privacy policy of any linked website at the beginning of your visit to determine its practices regarding collection, processing and use of personal information, before you choose to access their site.  


    We will retain your personal information only as long as it is necessary for us to use it for the intended purposes, unless it is necessary for us to retain it longer to fulfill our legal obligations.  When information is no longer required for business or legal purposes, we will delete it from our database.  In the event we determine that we are unable to delete your personal information, we will use best efforts to let you know why we are unable to do so.

    11. Children’s Personal Information

    Our website, products and services are not intended for use by minors, and no part of our website is structured to attract children. If you are a minor, please do not send any user information to us, and we encourage you to discuss our site with your parent or guardian and ask them to submit their information if appropriate.  We do not knowingly collect the information of minors, and if we discover we have collected a minor’s personal data, we will delete it immediately from our systems.  If you have reason to believe we have unintentionally or mistakenly collected such information, please notify us by sending an email to [email protected], or in writing at the address in the “Contact Us” section, so we can delete this information from our systems.


    Your information may be transferred to and stored on computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. If you are located outside of Canada and choose to provide information to us, you should be aware that eMastercam may transfer your personal information to Canada and process it there. Your formal consent to this Privacy Policy, or your submission of personal information represents your agreement to such transfer.
