The concept is the same yes. It's a list of named constant integer values. In MP, every numeric variable has four possible values; current, extended, previous, and previous extended. An enumerator on the other hand only has one value, and that's the value it was initialized too. This makes it much lighter weight, and I personally think it makes the code more readable.

    Select an Imperial Tap

Reply from Qc. David, This has been a known issue for a while. It was not logged in our system. I logged R-18504 and discussed this with the product owner. It is going to be a fairly large effort to get this done. It will most likely be done when we overhaul our Tool Manager situation. I would suggest opening a second Mastercam session and setting the configuration to inch. Create the tools needed and save them to a tool library. You can then use these tools in the metric file.
  5. Same, kinda. I quit flipping a coin an just go with it. Change and regen if it isn't right.

The Generic Haas VF-TR posts are pretty bullet proof. Why not try one of them?

Changing drill rpm at a point in progress

I just created a custom drill cycle. It was easier than I thought it would be. Thanks for the replies!

    mind blown

I strongly disagree with you. 2017 was a bugged out mess initially. They've refined this latest release quite a bit since then. Have you downloaded the patch updates yet? X9 is like 3 years ago. What bugs are you experiencing specifically?

    Mcam 2018 Mouse Wheel Issue

I've had to uninstall the Microsoft mouse driver before because no matter what I did it always zoomed out at an uncontrollable rate. I haven't ran across anyone with the Microsoft drivers installed in a few years, though, so I'm not sure if it's still the case. After I uninstalled it, everything would work normally. The drivers didn't add any functionality, either.

Never had that problem. Does it have a driver? If so it might need updating.

    Translate Stock Model

There are cases where it's better to move the stock model. Check out this previous discussion: https://www.emastercam.com/forums/topic/97011-moving-stock-model/?tab=comments#comment-1201818

    Verify O-ring cutters.

Here is the link. You will have to have a Mastercam.com login to access I think, Link

    Verify O-ring cutters.

you can create an .ini file for verify that goes into the program files/mcam2019 folder that will enable verify to show "O-ring" or "trepanning" tools. This will slow down verify so I would recommend removing it when you are done. I don't have the specifics of the .ini file in front of me. I'm sure your dealer can help otherwise I can dig into more later this afternoon. HTH

    Verify O-ring cutters.

They have a way to support this. There is a KB Article on the Official Mastercam Website on how to do this.

    Mcam 2018 Mouse Wheel Issue

So I disabled reverse zoom and it works a bit now. I tried cranking my wheel sensitivity way up and it works more like you would expect, but is still odd. I never thought a mouse would give me such trouble!

    Verify O-ring cutters.

Posted this like 4 years ago. Wondering if its still broken in 2019? Verifying o-ring tools does not see the inside diameter. The shaded tool looks correct but the result is not.

You must have a post tied to the simulator to get the simulator to match your posted code. That is not something the common user has or is given access to know how to do it. No you cannot assume anything with regards to 5 Axis. 3+2 is one thing and full 5 Axis is another and if you want to crash your machine you assume. If you don't want to crash your machine you go through and prove what you know to know what you know to not assume anything.

Changing drill rpm at a point in progress

If you made a custom drill cycle you could have used additional parameters to define those feed and never touch the posted code if that is what you meant by adjusting those lines of code.

That is totally different than the old way of going about this. Thank you and have to put a bug in 3rd Party Post people to look into this moving into 2020.

    Mcam 2018 Mouse Wheel Issue

Hey Folks, was running mastercam 2018 on a windows 7 PC for most of the year and had no issues. I Just switched to a windows 10 PC, with a Microsoft wireless keyboard mouse combo and am having issues with the zoom wheel. When I zoom in, it zooms out. When I Zoom out, it zooms out. Any ideas? I found a thread with a similar issue with x5 but half of the settings they fiddled with are obsolete now it seems. Thanks, Dwilson357

    All user settings.......Gone

Yep! It was bad script! I got it squared away now!

    All user settings.......Gone

It most likely doesn't have anything to do with winrar. Probably some of the script is wrong.
