removing defining wireframe

Is there a way to get rid of the defining wireframe entities for a solid after creating the solid? They make a lot of clutter, so I want to get rid of them. Any tips?

just move the solid to another level and shut the other one off

use the simplify solid command to remove the history tree then delete the wireframe

however, you will not be able to edit your solids once this is done.

A second way is to keep all you solid defining wire frame on separate levels so you can turn them off.

and the third way is to blank the defining geometry.. it's still there, but you can't see it or mess it up

but you can unblank it if you need to edit your solids at a later date

In the solids manager you can right click and remove solid history or can do that in the Modify part of the Model Prep Ribbon.

Be very careful if you think you going to need to make changes because one done there is no going back.
