How to keep my solid model after constructing in wireframe

I am having trouble saving my solid models after drawing up from wireframe and using solid extrude. When I want to save as a file it will not regenerate  the complete model again.I am pretty new to this. How do I keep my wireframe complete using levels?

Hi, 

if you create a model using extrude the solid model will have a dependency on the wireframe. To remove this go to the model prep menu  -> select remove solid history then -> select your solid and execute the function. Alternatively you can use create surface from solid -> then create solid from surface function.

Keep your wireframe geometry on a separate level and your solid on another. Use the level manager to organize your file.

The only reason you need to regenerate your model is if the wireframe changes.

Thanks for the replies.Will try both.I did keep updating a wireframe level but did not keep a solids level.

i blank all my solid construction geometry which normally keeps the noobies from messing with it and screwin up the file/solid. Levels work good too but people sometimes people still mess it up on another level so i started blanking my construction geometry and it works great for me.
