min & max Z in Active reports

I've made us Active reports setup sheets that meet our needs quite well, with one exception.

The Min-Z & Max-Z fields do not output correctly when the WCS is not "Top". As an example, if I duplicate Top & edit it to drop down 1" in Z, the min & max Z values will print out as 1" less than their NC code values.

I don't know anything about XML (or any coding in general 😜). Does anyone know how to modify the stock SSM-MT.xml file, that's included with Mastercam, to include Data fields that would output the min & max Z values of the active WCS?

It seems to me there was another to pull that info out of the Operation instead but I cannot readily find that info this morning...

Why couldn't they have provide a text file of the script? I'm pretty sure I'm going to screw up typing it in, I'll probably break my report a dozen times before I get it to work.

All joking aside thou, it is so unbelievable wonderful to be a part of this forum. I'm constantly amazed at the level of assistance folks are willing to share here. I often can't (don't) resist being a smarta$$, but in truth, I'm am very grateful.

Thanks again sir

Geez, I'm an idiot. The script is included in the sample RPX file.

I can help you if you have coding issues/questions, just let me know.

Holey moley! I've been fighting this for a while and the fix was simple as could be once I had the full list of tags.

Set the Datafield for Max Z to MAX-Z-TPLANE & for Min Z to MIN-Z-TPLANE. It works perfectly now. And I saved the entire tag list as a pdf for future reference.

There is no need for the script at all.
