It is all laid out in the Post Processor Documentation, which is available to licensed Mastercam users, through their Mastercam Reseller. You should make your request for the documentation to them.

Yes, I have those documents but the Procedure is not given in that document. Only give information about the Unitized vector, Dot Product, etc....

Good information thanks. I have been our girls math so good to have an additional resource to help them grasp where and how to use this. We have home schooled for over a decade. It is good to see the rest of the world see how it is to teach and interact with their kids daily for more than just after work or for some only on the weekends.

Yes, good examples are definetly the difference between easily learning and banging your head against the wall.

Most 3d graphics programming tutorials contain math examples related to vectors and matrices etc, as this knowledge is needed.

3d graphics principles would be more or less the same as what you are doing when you program a 5 axis machine, except instead of the head of your machine there is a camera or a view moving.

The same knowledge would be needed ro construct a 3d model in open gl, this involves passing 3 3d points that represent vertices of a triangle, then constucted the model out of an array of triangles!!!!

If you wanted to construct a project like this and didn't really have heavy programming knowledge you could use a software like unity which is free to use under 100000$ profit,

to construct a program where you can create/import 3d models and view them in different views or boolean them etc.

There are a lot of really good examples and project templates for building powerful tools with unity, which at the end of the day is wrapping the same open gl we use in mastercam everyday.
