OVERRIDE ARC FEED RATE not appear

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,
I am trying to make the program slow down at the corners and I don't see any feed rate slow down even though I have specified in the toolpath.  Please help, let me know what I've done wrong.  Thank you.

You are right, it only shows at G2 and G3.  However, it still does not show the right feed rate I want.  I have to make a post block for that.

What he was saying was your asking for help without giving us an example of the issue you were posting up about. You made up the thread about not getting output at arcs and then used an example of code with no arcs in it. Hard to see what your seeing if you're not sharing that exact issue with anyone to see it. Not sure why that escapes you or seems like no one is trying to help.

I've read this whole thread at least 4 or 5 times and I believe I'm getting dumberer every time.

I'm cornfused too.

Op has G08 active so if reduction in corner feed is needed then either change to G05.1 or adjust parameters in machine.

Regarding the whole feed thing ref Rekds vid....what's all that about?

Whatever F value i entered in Mcam it would output. Isn't that what's wanted?

On the machine the controller would process the same feed rates differently if comp was actuve or if comp was not active of course.

That was because different parameters are used and different (max arc feed) rates are set within the machine parameters.

Anyway...salud and back to my #43 :D
