Cutting a convex partial sphere

If this topic has already been discussed, I apologize.

I am having fits trying to cut a partial sphere on a part in 440c  .   I do not want to start the cut from the center going out,  ( that is all I have succeeded with so far. ) I want to cut  from OD to center line using a standard turning tool.   this is on a Haas TL2.  Maybe I'm dumb or just missing something in my definitions.  time is $ and I have spent way too long trying to figure this out.  I can always manually program moves,  but that defeats the purpose of having a CAM system. I would rather learn what I'm missing. thanks

Can you reverse your chain direction?

I tried,  tool geometry went berserk.   tried left  and right tool offset with each attempt.

not sure what you are trying to do specifically 

but if you click on plunge parameters

and click the second one you get motion

Sometimes we gotta just detach from the problem to see a solution.

Personally I suffer from failure to do this too often. But I am getting better.
