I followed the C++ NEThook for Mastercam video. Everything worked, except that there was no .dll file in the release folder. Do you have an idea of what I missed?

Hey Zeke,

in users/Zeke/Source/Repos/custmnhook there is a folder called x64, it should be in there.

The path the file was output to should be displayed in the logger at the bottom of the screen!

In the image in your screen,

you are in               : CustmNhook/CustmNhook/x64/release

the output path is : CustmNhook/x64/release

I am 99% sure, let me know if that is not the case.

Yep, that was it. It works! I tried in in 2018, 2019 & 2020, it works in all of them.

So, if I understand correctly, I can upload this to github, so it is available for me to clone it at work, correct?

Yes, you can clone anything you want at your work from GitHub.

I am pleased you got it working Zeke.

Do you have any ideas for my next tutorial?

I would love more information on using the Github repository. I have an account, but no real understanding of how to create and use it.

Do some research into using property sheets; what you’re doing to set this up is unnecessary.
