Dnc loop drip feeding on older yasnac j300

Recommended Posts

From cinco dnc max on our fanuc machines we can send advanced and loop as many as we want.

On the yasnac it gives an error saying no m2 or m30 after the first loop is run. Has anyone ever done it? Is there a setting I can look at?

Leon,

If I remember correctly, this had to do with a program stop signal. Used to happen randomly for us on an old yasnac on a mori lathe.

I believe " % " was used for the start, and " % " was the stop....

Somehow... during drip, the tape interface would drop some characters and most of the time it was the % at the end.

I'll try to find some notes I had for this

Found one....

We use M99 at the end of our drip feed programs.

Not sure if that's the answer for you or not.
