I use CAMplete almost daily.

I think it is an incredible combination of Post Processing and Machine Simulation, and I find it to be a perfect complement to Mastercam.

CAMplete makes an 'Add-In' for CAMplete, so you can easily setup and launch an instance of CAMplete, from within Mastercam. You pick your Toolpaths (Ops), 'Stock' Model, 'Part Model' (Finished Part Solid), Fixture Components (you can designated multiple levels, and choose if you want 1 model, or separate models), and finally your CAMplete Settings (Machine, NC Format, auto-translate, Etc.). This import utility will also create Tool Models and a Tool Library automatically for you.

CAMplete imports the Toolpaths, Fixture/Stock/Part models, Tools, and locates the models on the machine.

You then run the 'CAM Import Wizard', and modify settings as needed. CAMplete creates "posted NC Code", which you then 'run through the simulation', to catch any machine errors.

When you first build your Mastercam File, I highly recommend that you accurately model your Tool Assemblies (Holder + Extension + Tool), to accurately reflect the 'real Tool Length Offset', in the real-world. If you build your models accurately, located your Work Offset correctly, and model your tools accurately, then you'll be able to detect 'over-travel' errors, in addition to 'run-of-the-mill' programming mistakes.

For 5-Axis Machines, CAMplete supports all of the advanced machine modes, like Tilted Work Planes, Workpiece Setting Error Correction, Tool Center Point Control, and all of the High-Speed modes.
