Only thing you will need to know is the actual "cutting diameter".

Setup a block of aluminum in a Vise.

Set the Work Offset in X to one "edge" of the part. (Spindle Centerline is centered on that edge in X)

Mount your tool to the spindle, and jog the machine past the part by 1 or 2 inches.

Turn on the spindle to about 1000 RPM.

Slowly jog the tool until it makes contact with the edge of the part, where the Work Offset is set.

Look at your Axis display. Whatever the "X Position" shows, double that value, and that will be the Diameter of your Single Flute Thread Mill Tool, that you define in Mastercam.
