Is there more to that alarm? usually Okuma will have some values pointing to XYZ. You could also check I/O to see what may be happening. And then look at basics, like chips or crud causing the trip...seen this one before.

T_MALENA , this is what I asking where exactly in I/o I can see which switch tripped exactly?
I can't find instructions in the book

Mig, If the machine was running and now it isnt...this is what I was assuming. Then I'd be looking into something tripping the limit i.e. chips, gunk etc. Another possible, is the soft limit was adjusted outside the stroke end limit.

we also see that alarm come from our Marposs tool setters on our Okumas. if you push on it by hand it will flash up that alarm. we have had the machines overtravel a couple times when doing a tool touch off and it will alarm out. i would imagine if you get a heavy enough pile of chips on it to depress it, that could cause it.

Hello ,
Okuma gurus ,please help!
We got the alarm "1704 alarm a stroke end over " . Problem is non of the axis not on limit switch physically as i can see.
How i can check in the machine control diagnostic ( e100 control ) which limit switch is activated ?
Thank you
