"Change at point" not working on linked solid edges

Hello,

I've just moved to mc2021 from mc2019 and I am unable to get the Change at point function to work on more than one edge of a linked solid chain.

The part is a simple square and I am trying to change feed from F80 to F180.   I can make the change on a wireframe but it does not work on the solid.

Is there something I am doing wrong or does this not work on these chains?

Wireframe Code:

N5 G0 G90 X20.5437 Y-.31 S7000 M3
N6 G43 H21 Z1.
N7 Z.1
N8 G1 Z-.8675 F60.
N9 G42 D1 Y1.25
N10 Y19.5 F80.
N11 G2 X21.875 Y20.8313 R1.3313
N12 G1 X59.625 F180.
N13 G2 X60.9562 Y19.5 R1.3313 F80.
N14 G1 Y1.25
N15 G40 Y-.31
N16 G0 Z1.
N17 G91 G0 G28 Z0. M05 S0

Solid Code:

N5 G0 G90 X19.0437 Y-.31 S7000 M3
N6 G43 H21 Z1.
N7 Z.1
N8 G1 Z-.8675 F60.
N9 G42 D1 Y1.25
N10 Y20.25 F80.
N11 G2 X20.375 Y21.5813 R1.3313
N12 G1 X59.625
N13 G2 X60.9562 Y20.25 R1.3313
N14 G1 Y1.25
N15 G40 Y-.31
N16 G0 Z1.
N17 G91 G0 G28 Z0. M05 S0

I resist using solid geometry for tool paths because I've seen CRAZY sh*t happen with drill paths.

If you move your modal , translate it to a slightly different location,

It may decide on its own that it wants to drill out something like a fillet somewhere else on the part.

I saw it years ago with Version 9.1 and was so surprised when it happened years later with an X version...

now that I saw the glitch is still here in 2019 I have given up on ever trusting solids to a tool path again!

for that matter I don't intend on "upgrading" again beyond 2019. the devil u know is better than the devil you don't.

Its to bad that I stopped using 2017. the drill point manager was SO MUCH BETTER!!

I digress . I could go on and on.

I believe what you are describing is an issue with the cad model translator and Mastercam.

I have also seen that.

If possible, use model prep, optimize on your part prior to toolpathing.

The solid chaining in my opinion is not as robust as wireframe chaining yet.

I build a chook that can associate an operation to a 3d model while only using wireframe chaining.

That's how I have been linking models to toolpath nesting.
