Awesome, the PX30i is a great machine. Where area are you located in?

At Methods, we've had a PX30i at our Precision Center in Acton, MA for a while, but recently started installing a 2nd demo machine in Sudbury. So now I'll have access to 2 different machines for customer demos and test cutting purposes.

We are in FL

Oh man, now I'm jealous. Actually, it won't be too bad here in MA for the next 9 months or so. But I sure do miss being someplace warm every January/February...

You can have this heat!  I've been dealing with it for way too many years. 😎

We have a Yasda px30i and that's a damn impressive machine.  I haven't been able to do any jobs on it yet though.

As amazing as the PX30i is (and it is an amazing machine to begin with), I've been blown away by the YMC 650 + RT20 we've got in our lab. It has another decimal place (in Metric), of precision, beyond what the PX30i can achieve. The entire machine is Linear Motor, with a 40K RPM Spindle (HSK-E32), and accuracies of 1 Arc Second on both rotaries. We tried to measure the error on both of these axes, and were getting measurements that were essentially "at the limit of the laser" tha we were using to measure the accuracy and repeatability. (Using a Renishaw XL80 laser system, which is not a cheap piece of equipment...)
