Machine sim Problem

In the attached picture, i am drilling the part. i am not approaching from the front and it is still cutting away the material. anyone know how to fix this?

Is it tied to a Post? If not then set your REF point out in Space for Indexes. Without a Post tied to Machiensim you have to be able to read code and understand what is reality and what is false collision. i suspect this is at an index at first. The other thing could be a bad plane, but normally backplot will not show it if there is a bad plane.

millman, thanks for the reply. I think it must be a setting. The sim runs perfectly on my laptop.

Without a sample file to see what your seeing and the exact machinesim going to be hard to really help come with an exact reason. Reach out to your dealer and see what they say.

If you have a multiple setup in a file on a 3axis VMC, Top, Front and Right Side to machine a block/ holes it will not respect the WCS/Planes after the first setup.
