Mazak Look Ahead ON/OFF codes?

Hello everyone,
    I am trying to look for the codes for MAZAK LOOK AHEAD and this if what I found, not sure if these are right or wrong.

G61.1, K40(MAZAK LOOK AHEAD ON)

G61.1(MAZAK LOOK AHEAD OFF)

G61.1(MAZAK LOOK AHEAD OFF)

I thought G64 turned off G61.1 where did you come up with G61.1 being turned off by using G61.1? Applying the K it is just a tolerance value. Depending on the machine it might need to be a different value. Should check with your Mazak AE and see what they recommend for your machine.

   I just called Mazak and this is what they told me:

G61.1, K70 (MAZAK LOOK AHEAD ON)
G64 (MAZAK LOOK AHEAD OFF)

or....

G5 P2(MAZAK LOOK AHEAD ON)
G5 P0(MAZAK LOOK AHEAD OFF)

Which one have you seen the most common used?

G61.1 is the Mazak smoothing control.

G5 is the look ahead

You can use both simultaneously, but the must be on separate lines.
