The best way is to learn where Waterline is a good choice and where it is not...

Waterline is  a Constant Z style toolpath...as the geometry flattens out, the performance is diminished

That is a case where I would use either Hybrid or a combination of several toolpaths....

That geometry doesn't lend itself to a single toolpath solution
