Survey completed.  Thanks for the heads up.  Seems like those are "leading questions" and heading in the right direction!!!

A survey with leading questions is simply looking for affirmation, not answers...

Lol. But then you'd actually have to type a 10-digit number, to even get close.

If anyone is using over Level 123456789, I think they might have issues. ;)

When I have custom tools and holders, I take the tool/holder part number minus any letters, and insert it into the number "100000000"/"200000000" respectiverly. if the part number doesn't fit, I truncate the leading numbers until it fits.

I've got different ranges for different things like OP01 tool path geometry, OP02 tool path geometry, etc...

This is one of my favorite organizational tools.

Can you explain how this works or what it does for you??

"Level set

Displays the level set value of the selected level. You can also edit the level set of the selected level by typing a different value in the field."

You can name a group of levels with the Level Set of, say, "OP1"  , and another group with "OP2"  Another group as maybe, "Custom Tool Geometry"  Then you can turn on, or off, everything belonged to a particular Level Set.

Yes, this is a great function. Depending on the job, I will name sets for individual solid models of parts in an assembly; Geometry elements for individual toolpaths; Informational notes concerning the job.

Once you start using it, you keep finding more uses.
