Toolpath display not working!

OK I can't be the only one having this issue. I emailed Mastercam support and got a canned reply saying that my graphics card isn't good enough and I need a new driver....OKAY sure. So I get new drivers from Nvidia. Problem persists.

Whether I toggle on toolpaths with Alt-T or the toolpath toggle button, my toolpaths don't want to display in the graphics window. Kind of a problem eh? I can't see my toolpaths. This is of course new with my recent install of 2022 and never had this with a previous version.

Any ideas?

Thank you

Same issue, seems like a bug. It will be working then suddenly not working. Close and restart MC and then they work again. My coworkers haven't complained about it yet though, so I just assume its only because I typically work with the largest files.

You've got a rockin' video card too.

I've been working files into the 200 to 300 meg range recently and had no issues with toolpath display not working

It did not work at all till I found the switch to turn it on the System Config

Yea I see the same config thing you are talking about BUT mine is and has been toggled on.

Like the other people, mine mysteriously works and doesn't work whenever it feels like it. That is a kinda massive bug IMO and should be looked at by CNC asap

I'm experiencing the same issue. It's driving me nuts.

I reached out to our Cam Reseller - MLC Cad and worked with there tech over the phone. We tried a slew of things, reinstalling Mastercam, scrubbing my configurations and started with the default settings, changing the directory of the MyMasterCam Folder and a lot of other things that didn't seem relevant to me but nothing stuck.

He then reached out to CNC Software and they said they haven't heard of this problem and chalked it up as a "malware, virus, ransomware or corrupt windows o/s problem".

I'm frustrated because I don't think that's the issue. Hopefully they'll address it on the next update.

Until then I'm just going back into my cofiguration settings and turning "display toolpath" back on every time it turns its self off, no need to close and restart Mastercam

I too have had this problem, try alt-t but make sure your mouse pointer is in the graphic window and not on operation manager window

You rock man. I've been hitting alt+t this whole time to no avail only to find out that clicking the graphics window before hand is the fix. This is definitely unique to 2022 but I'm glad there's a quick and easy work around. Appreciate the help!

Yes I have noticed this fixing it but this definitely did not occur back in previous versions. I use ctrl+T alot in the graphics window to toggle transparency on and off. Ctrl+T in the toolpath manager toggles on and off toolpath display, which is weird.

Yes I agree it didn't happen in previous versions, like above I was told that it was a corrupted file and needed to

Regen default files   but that only work for the initial start up of MC, and once I turn it off I could turn it back on..

Then I stumble across , this work around ..and it been working for me ...

Downgrade your MasterC. to a release that works for you. I use 2019 2017 is better yet.

Thanks for the fix. In case you don't want to read through the threads here goes. You have to click in the graphics window, leave your mouse pointer there, and then click ALT+T. It will then work. I have been on the horn with tech support  for a week now and all they could tell me was to push the button. I wanted to be like, I have been using this software for going on 20 years now, if I say there is a problem, then there is a F ing problem. Fix it before I go ape.
