Dynamic Area Mill Question

I am machining some low carbon steel (around 15 Rockwell C) and for some reason it is giving me absolute hell. I am using the dynamic area milling toolpath, using a 3/4 AlTin coated carbide with a 1.5 L.O.C.. As far as my parameters, I have my D.O.C. at 1.375 and my W.O.C. at about .060. What should I be running my feeds and speeds at with that low radial engagement? Or should I adjust my W.O.C.? Also I am using a Haas TM-2 so not a whole lot of power.

I agree with #Rekd.  Assuming it's a 4FL endmill, Helical's MAP suggests 762 SFM, and .011"ipt.  HSM puts that at just over 10HP of spindle load.  Those TM-2s are 7.5HP iirc.

 

*edit* Maybe try a larger stepover, at S&F closer to traditional methods if you're married to that tool?  HSM Advisor puts 485SFM, and .0035ipt, with 24% stepover at 5.89HP spindle load.
