CAM help for jet engine part

Hi,

I am new to mastercam. I have used mastercam to cut out easy 2D profiles on the FADAL CNC 88HS that I work on at the machine shop at my university, but now I am looking to make the CAM for a 4-axis operation and I don't know where to begin. I would greatly appreciate some guidance on this.

I have included the engineering drawing of the part I am trying to make below.

Do you have the solid model of this part? You will need either a solid model and or surfaces likely to control everything.

Just out of curiosity is this just a learning exercise because I noticed the drawing was a solidworks training type drawing?

If you would like you could even peel mill between the blades using 2d peel with axis substitution.

@#Rekd™ By solid model do you mean the blank I'm going to cut the part out of or a complete model of the part

@JoshC I tried accessing the link you posted but it said it was forbidden (perhaps because I just created my account), this is not a learning exercise per se. It's for a jet engine club at the university I study at.

The solid model of this part you are trying to create.
