Stock model to pmesh

I am working with a coworkers program and I'm trying to create a pmesh from a stock model, but "View Stock Model", "Stock Model Export to STL" & "Stock Model Covert to Pmesh" are all greyed out.

Does anyone know why this might be?

Yes, I've done it a thousand times, but they are greyed out in this program. As I say, it was created by a coworker, so I have no idea what might be the reason for this behavior. I created a fresh stock model, but got the same greyed out functions. It's a 2021 program.

Did he link them to external files and since you not on his system you cannot pull from that exact place on your computer? Lost a major customer due to this issue years ago. One of your guys linked to the STL's files on his system and since the paths was not identical when they went to make changes everything blew up. Since you cannot know the exact names of the linked files to replace them all was lost when 3 years later they were trying to make changes to the files.

No, he said he didn't link any files to it.

No clue. I would make the STL from Verify and then save it to a level and make a Pmesh that way.

Why not just recreate the stock model? the other ops are available?

Yes, that's how I always do it, I don't know why this program is acting differently. I just created an stl from verify and moved on.
