Moving License Servers

Good Afternoon,

I was wondering what the procedure is to move a license server from an old Windows 7 physical machine (where the dongle was plugged in directly to workstation) to a Windows Server 2019 VM hosted on VMWare? I installed the license manager on the 2019 server and I have a Digi Portserver for my license dongle.   The server sees the dongle but only in "local" mode. I tried to switch it to network and it doesn't show anything. My clients cannot see the server so they cannot open Mastercam. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

are your clients set to "network"

also try editing the nethash.ini file on each client machine to include the IP address of the new server
