Help getting started on a 3D tool path

Hi all,

I am reaching out to get some tips on a particular 3D path I have to program. Admittedly, 3D paths are a weak area for me.

Attached is a photo that represents my case. I am trying to mill away some material inside a bore, that has a bore through it from an opposing plane. Because of this, the bottom of this "pocket" will be a 3D arc (because of the opposing bore0. I want to remove the flat (green WF in photo). It doesn't have to be precise or particularly pretty, just to remove some material for the operator to clean up with a dremel.

I am programming off of a model/WF combo. The portion that needs to be removed is not a separate body/solid. Does it need to be?

Just looking for where to get started. Appreciate the help.

Notes:  3 axis machining center - ball mills, necessary tooling ready.

Thank you
