Tool inspection/ change switch

I have a part that I have programmed and wanted to add tool inspection every so often. The switch appears broken. I contacted my reseller and he said this was a known issue and supposed to be resolved in the next release. Was wondering how many of y’all have had issues with this.

I’m running a custom post ability post for a Mazak variaxis i700. This is a morph 5 axis tool path with all axes moving on a very weird shaped piece of wasp alloy.

They don't have Tool Inspection in the 5 Axis toolpaths that I am aware of you have to break up the toolpath to get it.

The switch is in the new unified 5 axis tool path. It is right under the select library tool button on the tool page.

Sorry I hadn't seen it in my use of Unified since I have been stuck in MT land for sometime. That is not an option in MT.

I tested this in Mill using a 3rd party post and it worked good.

Should be working fine for you?  Here's a simple morph in 2022:

Here's what I see if I set a tool inspection every 15 inches:

If you investigate the NCI, you'll find a full header output preceeded by:

Can you be more specific about what doesn't work?

Oh, I should add that it only can get triggered on a linking move after you hit the inspection point, so you may need to rearrange your toolpath if it's one continuous cut.
